In 2023, Adidas scored an own goal: while sponsoring the two teams from Minas Gerais, one of Brazilian Football biggest rivalries, it claimed Atletico was the biggest. In 2025, they dropped the ball again and Nike seized the opportunity to partner with Clube Atlético Mineiro, leaving the three-stripes brand with Minas’ second biggest club Cruzeiro. To announce that we created the biggest billboard in the team home city reminding everyone of the truth: The Greatest Play Together. A 15-meter unapologetic statement that took over Belo Horizonte.
